Kristin CAVALLARI doesn't NEED a MAN!
Kristin Cavallari is just too busy to have a boyfriend.Looking phenomenal in a short aqua off-the-shoulder jersey dress and four-inch silver heels, the former Laguna Beach star attended the Ciroc Vodka Big Brothers Big Sisters DJ Irie benefit dinner at Miami's Gansevoort Hotel Saturday night with two girlfriends."What love life?" Cavallari, 21, said to PEOPLE. "I'm so busy." She added that she is "single and not looking for a boyfriend."Busy indeed! Cavallari just finished shooting Wild Cherry, a film with Rumer Willis and Rob Schneider, in Canada. She said it was "great" to film with Willis and pronounced Schneider "so funny." She also just shot a music video with Gavin DeGraw and a short film by Kevin Connolly.Cavallari's not the only Laguna Beach veteran to be finding success. Her Hills pals are making their mark in film and fashion and music, which she thinks is great: "I'm so happy for them."
The REAL Lauren CONRAD!
Last week, I got to spend a little time with none other than Ms. Lauren Conrad, at the launch of her latest collection for Mark. People can say what they will about her fashion credentials/first collections, but I will tell you this: The little strapless number she had on was ree-diculous cute. It's part of her holiday collection.
Other general impressions of Lauren-in-real-life:
- As with all celebs, seemed way shorter/thinner in person. Also, tanner.
- Seemingly really sweet/almost a little shy. I wasn't getting stuck-up vibes. When I needed to find the ladies' room, she walked me there, despite 10 publicists who could have done so instead.
- Shockingly well-spoken considering the inane dialogue we generally see her involved in on The Hills. Recited tons of stats from memory when describing the new m.powerment initiative (proceeds from certain Mark accessories are going to organizations that prevent violence against young women).
